FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICS FLAG COLLABORATION CATANIA GROUP
The research endeavors within our team primarily focus on exploring Quantum Field Theory (QFT)
and Statistical Physics with applications in Early Universe cosmology, black hole physics, and gravity.
Over the years, we have dedicated significant effort to developing various analytical and numerical approaches to the
Wilsonian Renormalization Group to explore theories that exhibit a non-trivial continuum limit.
Additionally, our work encompasses investigating the astrophysical consequences of modified gravity
theories in various contexts, ranging from neutron stars (NS) to black holes (BH) and gravitational waves (GWs).
The group is affiliated with the INFN sezione di Catania
INFN CT
and it is the Catania research unit of the national INFN collaboration
FLAG.
